Corina Mommaerts is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she is also an affiliate of the La Follette School of Public Affairs and the Institute for Research on Poverty.
Her research interests include public economics, the economics of aging, health economics, and insurance, particularly the design of insurance against health and aging-related risks over the life course, long-term care financing and the role of family caregiving, and the design of health insurance deductibles. Professor Mommaerts is a nonresident senior fellow in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution and a research affiliate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
