Liran Einav is the Charles R. Schwab Professor of Economics at Stanford University.

He specializes in industrial organization and health microeconomics. An important strand of his work is focused on insurance markets and healthcare markets, and empirical analyses of the implications of adverse selection and moral hazard. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and an NSF Career Award recipient.
