Michael Dickstein

Michael J. Dickstein is an Associate Professor of Economics at New York University's Stern School of Business, where he also directs Stern's Healthcare Initiative.

His research interests lie at the intersection of industrial organization and health economics, including how patient out-of-pocket prices shape prescription drug adoption, how the design of insurance pools affects enrollment and competition, and the economics of adverse selection and imperfect competition in health care markets. Professor Dickstein is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
